With an output of 260 MWp and an area of over 205 hectares, the Bartow solar park in Brandenburg is the second largest photovoltaic power plant in Germany.

Built by GOLDBECK SOLAR and Encavis Asset Management, the plant will generate around 270,000 MWh of clean energy per year - enough to supply more than 96,000 households with green electricity and save around 100,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year.

Given the size and remoteness of the park, an effective security concept is essential. This is where alarm.direct comes into play: the Schwerin-based company specialises in modern security solutions for solar parks and ensures reliable protection for the Bartow project.

This is because alarm.direct offers a customised and comprehensive security concept. Thanks to the combination of innovative technology and professional monitoring, the Bartow solar park is optimally protected against burglary, vandalism and theft.

In conclusion, the Bartow project is a role model for the safe and sustainable use of solar energy in Germany.

We are delighted to be part of this fantastic project.
