alarm.direct is securing one of the region's most innovative solar projects near the Dutch-Belgian border. This Green Energy 3000 project is not only a symbol of the energy transition, but also a prime example of the optimal utilisation of resources and synergies between different renewable energy sources.
This PV park was built below the existing wind farm. This combination of solar and wind energy makes it possible to maximise energy production regardless of the weather conditions: Windy days compensate for the lack of sunshine, while on sunny days the solar modules achieve maximum output. This concept illustrates how clever planning can increase efficiency and sustainability.
alarm.direct has equipped the project, with a total fence length of 7,000 metres, with state-of-the-art security technology for one of the largest electricity providers in the Netherlands.
These innovative security measures are essential to ensure that the annual energy supply for 16,300 households can be guaranteed in the future and that operations are not disrupted by theft, vandalism, burglary, etc.
This project also helps to reduce CO₂ emissions by 23,400 tonnes per year.
We would like to thank Green Energy 3000 for the trust they have once again placed in us and look forward to the next joint project.
